How to play Control Europe
Join the developer group first for a permanent stat boost, pick a major power for your first run, upgrade cities for money and manpower, then research units your neighbours do not have. There is no code box in this game.
Control Europe is a Roblox strategy game about taking, upgrading and betraying your way across a map of modern Europe. Servers hold 14 players, the average session runs 13.71 minutes, and the game has been live since 2025-05-11. This page is the controls, the one free bonus worth grabbing before your first match, and the basic rhythm: pick a country, level cities, raise troops, ally up.
Controls on PC and mobile
The camera is free-floating and nearly everything is mouse-driven. This is the scheme published in the community controls guide (Deltia's Gaming, 2025-12-26); it still matches the current build.
Keys and mouse on PC
| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
W A S D | Slide the camera across the map |
| Mouse wheel | Zoom in and out |
| Left click | Select a country, a city or an army |
| Right click | Order the selected army to move or attack |
E | Open the economy and management menu |
R | Open the recruit panel to raise troops |
M | Open the full map |
Esc | Pause menu and settings |
Drag and pinch on mobile
On a phone or tablet the same actions become gestures: drag to pan, pinch to zoom, tap to select, then tap where you want to move or fight. Selection and targeting behave exactly like left and right click on PC.
Memorise two keys on day one: R is where armies come from and E where the money is managed. Everything else is camera work, learnable while your first city upgrade ticks.
Do this before you spawn
Join the developer's Roblox group before your first match. The community beginner tutorial says membership pays a permanent +5% tax income, +5% manpower and +2 damage — nothing else in the game hands out that much for free, and it is the only time-sensitive freebie: every other "free boost" people chase is a promo code, and this game has none.
There is no code box in this game — the database entry reads "Codes: None. No redeem box in the game". Any Control Europe code list you find elsewhere is dead on arrival; our Codes page carries the same standing status.
Pick a country, then level cities
The store description is the loop in one sentence: choose a European country, capture and upgrade cities, climb the tech tree, then ally or betray until you control the continent. Private servers get Save/Load — the cheapest way to practise an opening without wrecking a public match.
Cities are the entire economy: each generates money, manpower and a troop spawn point, and carries two levels — a tier from 1 to 10 and a defense rating from 1 to 10, shown in Roman numerals so X means maxed. Tier pays you; defense makes an attack expensive.

Three map rules decide what you can build:
- Airports exist only on capitals. No capital, no planes, no matter how deep your treasury is.
- Ships need a port, so a landlocked start means no navy until you capture one.
- The world map carries 237 capitals, and capitals are where the fighting concentrates.
Then there is the occupation trap: a captured city pays lower tax, cannot spawn troops, and can only be annexed while at peace. Take a city you cannot hold and you get territory you cannot use — including the spawn point you took it for.
Raise your first army with R
Open the recruit panel with R, pick a unit, pick a city that still has a spawn point. Eight unit types exist — Infantry, Tanks, Battleships, Planes, Anti Aircraft, Missile Launcher, Artillery and Aircraft Carriers — but only the first three come without research; the other five wait behind the tech tree.

What the first three units cost
| Unit | Batch | Cost | Daily upkeep | Manpower | Deploy time |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Infantry | 5,000 men | 500,000 | 50,000 | 5,000 | 15 seconds |
| Tanks | 100 tanks | 10,000,000 | 300,000 | 10,000 | 60 seconds |
| Artillery | 1 gun | 100,000 | 15,000 | 5,000 | not stated |
- Every country on the Europe map opens with 30,000 infantry already on the field.
- Tanks cost 20x the money, 6x the upkeep and 2x the manpower of infantry for a much stronger unit. An infantry division holds up to 9.99M manpower; the tank panel shows 1m while the cap is 100M.
- Artillery is the bargain bin — up to 50,000 guns per division — but it does not survive a head-on fight. A small infantry stack screened by guns will eat a far larger force.
- Manpower opens at 60,000 for everyone on the server. The cap is 2% of your population and daily growth normally runs at +0.014% of population; upgrading cities, annexing land and researching all push it upward.
Combat maths in one line: siege speed = troop count + tech + attacking from more than one side, so never feed a single column in. Defense flips the equation — maxed city defence plus artillery deletes a force under a million men, and planes press down the defence bar, so an infantry-only attacker bleeds out.
Alliance and a first-hour rhythm
Political Power gates every decision: it regenerates at +0.25 per day up to a cap of 500, and the prices never move:
| Action | Political Power cost |
|---|---|
| Declare war | 10 |
| War goal on the world map | 17 |
| War goal on the Europe map | 50 |
| Create an alliance | 50 |
| Join or leave an alliance | 30 |

What an alliance gives you
Alliance rules are deliberately strict: every member must approve a join, the leader can kick anyone, and you may hold only one membership. Each alliance keeps a shared treasury plus a private channel, allied territory is crossed without damage, and breaking a high-trust pact gives the other side a 4-month preparation period.
Your first hour, in order
Do these in order before you declare anything:
- Join the developer group first, so the +5% tax, +5% manpower and +2 damage are live from minute one.
- Open
Eon your capital and queue city tier upgrades — tier funds everything that follows. - Screen your borders with the starting 30k infantry while those upgrades land.
- Bank your PP. A war goal on the Europe map eats 50 of your 500 cap and you only earn 0.25 back per day.
- Create the alliance at 50 PP before you pick a fight with anyone.
- Only then hit
Rfor tanks — 10,000,000 per 100 is a commitment you feel for the rest of the match.
