Control Europe is a Roblox grand-strategy game by Hidden Studio where you pick a modern European country and try to be the last nation standing on the map. You take cities, upgrade them for money and manpower, research technology nobody else has, and either build alliances or break them when the moment suits. A server holds 14 players, matches run long enough that the game tracks playtime in 24-hour badges, and 277 million visits later it is still being updated.
The loop is small enough to learn in one match and deep enough to argue about: cities pay for the army, the army takes more cities, technology decides which army wins. Everything on this site comes out of that sentence.
What to do in your first game
- Join the developer's Roblox group first. The free permanent boost is the closest thing this game has to codes, and you want it before your first match, not after.
- Pick a major power. China and the United States are the forgiving starts — more cities, more income, more room to make mistakes.
- Upgrade cities before you build units. City tier raises both income and manpower at the same time, and both compound for the rest of the match.
- Research what your neighbours do not have. Research takes one to two minutes; a unit type they cannot counter is a won fight before it starts.
- Watch the money panel. Green tile tax income, red military expenses, and a summary that should stay green — a red summary is an army you cannot afford.
Who this site is for
This is an unofficial fan guide, written for players who want numbers instead of vibes: what a unit actually costs to maintain, what the Europe map charges for a war justification, why an occupied city cannot spawn your troops, and which formable you can realistically form before the match ends.
- New players start at How to play — controls, first game, and the order to do things.
- Players picking a start want Best countries — the size-versus-technology trade-off explained.
- Players chasing a goal want Formables — 151 transformations and what each one requires.
- Players optimising want Military units, Cities and economy, and Alliances and political power.
